Adult ADHD Assessment in Brisbane
Adult ADHD Assessment
ADHD in adults can affect attention, organisation, time management, emotional regulation, working memory and consistency at work or home. Many people seek assessment after years of compensating for difficulties or after anxiety, depression, burnout or chronic stress have complicated the picture.
What the assessment considers
Lumena Clinic provides comprehensive, individualised adult ADHD assessments in Spring Hill, Brisbane. The process considers current concerns, developmental and life history, cognitive strengths and challenges, functional impact and relevant co-occurring conditions. Evidence-based clinical and neuropsychological methods are selected according to each person’s circumstances.
What to expect
The assessment begins with a detailed clinical interview. Where appropriate, validated questionnaires, cognitive measures and information from someone who knows you well may be included. You receive clear feedback and practical recommendations tailored to work, study, relationships and daily functioning.
After assessment
If ADHD is identified, recommendations may include psychological treatment, practical strategies, workplace or study supports, and coordination with your GP or psychiatrist. Lumena also offers psychological support for executive functioning, emotional regulation, anxiety, mood concerns and trauma.
